Cost to Build a Small Cable Suspension Bridge

I’ve had several inquiries lately about the cost of building my bridge. I left prices out of my book because it depends on the current market and what is available in your local supply market. But here is what it would cost today to build this bridge near Eugene, Oregon. Note that you can purchase cable locking system parts from me if you don’t want to deal with having them made locally:

UPDATE MAY 2013: The cost for cable locking system parts has gone up thanks to steel prices, etc. Please figure $12.50 each ($25.00 per pair) which is 3/16″ metal tube with insert, both keyhole drilled, and either galvanized or zinc plate anodized.
